Q. Who are the Guides and Leaders ?
Our Guides & Leaders are licensed in Tourism or other related professions, who have been practicing this activities for at least 3 years. They have approved the Leader’s Course of our Company, focused in adventure & security, backed up by C.A.T.A. and CONAF in what concerns to regional Flora & Fauna.

Q. What Vehicles do you use for Transportation ?
A.
Between our own vehicles and the associated companies we provide our customers with a complete set of Buses, Minibuses, Vans, 4x4s, to cover all the necessities. That is how we offer in most of the Programs private transportation, or 4x4 scenic routes, that will always be an excellent choice, for convenience, for security and for quality.

Q. Do we have Accident Insurance Coverage while there ?
A.
We do as a norm to provide with Personal Accident Insurance all of our customers while doing these activities with us. Coverage is for land transportation to a hospital, medical & hospital expenses, with a maximum of about U$ 1.000 dolars. All transportations services should have Passenger coverage by law in Chile.
However, we recommend to get a better coverage in your country of origin, that will pay for things like a helicopter rescue, an extra flight, extra stay for recovery, etc.

Q.- Do I need to reserve a bed in advance ?
Yes, if you would like to make sure to do a circuit or Trekking Program using only the facilities of the Refugios.
Due to high demand, from mid November to mid March could be hard to get all the beds you are needing.
Because there is one unit at each stop, when you do a circuit, you need to get a bed each night. If you do not get the bed, you should do camping at the same place and eat at the Refugio. ( Tents are limited also ).
By booking in advance, you may get all the beds you need or you allow us to check the vacancies and figure it out an alternative circuit that will match your original planning ( a circuit can be done in different directions ).

Q.- Can I do the Big Circuit without carrying any equipment or food ?
You can go do the whole Big Circuit, all around the Paine Massif, with a Full Board service at the Refugios. Where there is no Refugio ( camp Serón and camp Los Perros ) you can get the 3 meals service and sleep in a Tent with a mat ( different price ). At camp El paso,( if you do not walk 9 hrs that day ) we can set up a tent and bring up the meals for you. ( because of going lite, most everybody does the 9 hrs from camp Los Perros to Refugio Grey ).
Then again, it all works with reservations in advance.

Q.- How difficult are The Trails ?
They are all kind of easy, thought for most everybody, though some parts mean long walking hours and there are some up and downs involved. They are all well marked. The hours between 2 points are calculated for the average people, and since we have long hours of daylight, you can always take that extra time to do it at your own pace The difficulty could be increased by having too much gear to carry, not having the right boots or not allowing enough time to get from A to B. Remember, we are all here to enjoy this nature, not to win a contest.

Q.- What do they take at the refugios : Cash, Check, Credit Card ?
