Wild life
The Guanaco is a relative of the now domesticated llama. Patagonia’s largest land vertebrate roams the plains of Torres del Paine. They live in groups, usually a single dominate male accompanied by up to 10 females and their young. Though elegantly formed creatures, these animals exhibit a number of seemingly incongruous habits. When they greet,  they give a turkey-like gobble and then, vomit a wad of semi-masticated grasses.
The Zorro also know as the South American Grey Fox, is found in Argentina and Chile. You can observe these creatures of the wild roaming along the Plains, pampas, deserts and low mountain areas. Most zorro’s have grey coats with the undercoat  a paler grey. Large ears, and long bushy tails. The head and body length 42-68 c m. the shoulder height 40-45 cm, it’s tail length 30-36 cm and weights aprox. 4.4 kg . The Zorro enjoys the feast of rodents, small animal such as rabbits, birds, and even some berries.
